Crystals for Intuition

As an evidential medium and spiritual teacher, I teach my students to help them transform grief and connect with their loved ones in Spirit. Intuition is the language of the soul, and it’s also how we can communicate with the Other Side.

Crystals are a tool that I use personally and professionally in my classes to enhance intuition. Crystals are naturally formed in and mined from the Earth and come in many shapes, colors, and sizes. They also offer spiritual and healing attributes in addition to their beauty.

Crystals can be worn as jewelry, carried in your pocket or purse, placed in your environment, or used as an elixir.

I listed nine of the top crystals that I recommend for enhancing intuition and connecting with loved ones in Spirit.

AMAZONITE:

My personal favorite, and the stone I use during mediumship readings, amazonite helps you see things from different points of view. It also integrates your intuition with your intellect and calms the nervous system. It also soothes trauma, alleviates fear, and dispels negative energy.

Spiritually, amazonite assists with manifesting universal love, and it opens the heart and throat chakras.

Amazonite is moderately priced, fairly easy to find, and can be found in several formats including tumbled stone, pillars, jewelry, malas, and palm stones.

AMETHYST:

 A very popular and powerful stone, Amethyst provides support on physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental levels. It is protective and calming, and it enhances spiritual awareness. It helps you to feel less scattered and it opens your intuition. Sleeping with amethyst can promote intuitive dreams. It’s also helpful in easing grief.

It’s easy to find, fairly cost effective, and common forms include clusters, jewelry, and tumbled stones.

ANGELITE:

Angelite initiates contact with the angelic realms and is a stone of peace. It enhances intuition and heightens perception. Spiritually, it is a stone of compassion and healing.

Angelite is moderately priced, somewhat easy to find, and can be found in several formats including tumbled stone, pillars, spheres, jewelry and carved statues.

AQUAMARINE:

Aquamarine is a stone of courage and can help with expressing oneself. It’s a stone of “light” and protection, and it sharpens intuition. It enhances the ability to communicate with the higher planes. It soothes fears and calms the mind.

It tends to be slightly more expensive and more difficult to find than some of the other stones. Jewelry is pretty common, tumbled stones are somewhat common and other forms may be harder to find.

AZURITE:

Azurite guides intuitive development and attunes you to spiritual guidance. It eases the mind, raises consciousness, and brings an understanding of new perspectives. It also aids in easing grief.

It tends to be slightly more expensive and more difficult to find than some of the other stones, and you’ll commonly find it in a small, raw stone form or as a smoother tumbled stone.

FLOURITE:

Flourite is highly protective and is helpful in integrating spiritual energy. It heightens intuition and focuses the mind. Flourite also increases self-confidence. The green in fluorite helps to ground energy and alleviate trauma, while the purple in fluorite enhances intuition.

Flourite is easy to find, fairly cost-effective, and common forms include pillars, wands, tumbled stones, beaded jewelry, and carved statues.

LABRADORITE:

A highly protective stone, labradorite raises consciousness and enhances intuition. It can also help you access spiritual purpose and strengthen faith. It banishes fear and insecurity, calms the mind, and integrates intuition with intellect.

It is somewhat easy to find, moderately priced and common forms includes jewelry and stone pieces.

QUARTZ CRYSTAL:

The most popular and common of all crystals, clear quartz is used in watches and as an amplifier of energy, including amplifying properties in other stones near it.

It’s known as a master healer and can help treat any condition. It comes in many colors that offer specific mind, body, and spirit attributes.

Quartz is typically very easy to find, relatively inexpensive, and comes in multiple forms, including jewelry, crystal points, clusters, and tumbled stone.

SELENITE:

I love this stone as it serves several purposes. First, it brings clarity of mind and access to higher guidance. It instills peace, protection, and insight. Second, it is a stone that never needs clearing and other crystals can be cleared just by placing them on selenite.

Selenite is very common, pretty cost-effective and it comes in a variety of forms including lamps, trays, wands, stones, spheres, and more.

Crystals and Spirit Communication:

When my daughter and only child died unexpectedly, I wanted nothing more than to connect with her in Spirit. Crystals have been a powerful tool in supporting me on my journey for both grief and mediumship. I wear them as jewelry and they’re placed throughout my home. As an evidential medium, I also use specific crystals to connect with loved ones in Spirit for myself and those I do mediumship readings for.
